If the game closes unexpectedly or your network connection drops, first try to rejoin the same room with the same account. Creating a new room will not return you to the world already in progress.
Reconnect after an abnormal exit
After an abnormal disconnection, the server marks the participant as disconnected and waits for reconnection. Returning during the grace period restores the existing player seat and direct control.
Delegation does not permanently remove your seat
After the grace period, the ruler may change to AI delegation. You can return to direct play later, but territory changes and diplomatic or military decisions made during delegation are not rolled back.
A deliberate exit can move the ruler to AI delegation immediately, without a grace period.
If you cannot rejoin
- Confirm that you are using the same account and room as before.
- Check the displayed server mode and whether multiplayer is available in that environment.
- Check the latest service notice for official-server or relay availability.
